5 Sources for FREE MUSIC - Part 1

by Charley on November 18, 2008

I have noticed a new trend among bloggers that are now offering a free download with artists that you may have never heard of. Some of the sites are from Artists, record labels, distributors, and other websites that have gotten a single to offer you for free.

Here is a list of blogs and websites offering at least 1 free download. Some of these sites may require some personal information such as an email address, or those of your friends in exchange for the download. I have no personal interest in any of these sites, I am just passing along the great news of free music.

All Creation Sing - FEE

All Creation Sing - FEE

FEE releases their first Christmas Single, All Creation Sing, and you can get it for free at Worshiptogether.com in exchange for your email address. If you don’t want to share your email, you can get the single on iTunes for .99.

As It Is In Heaven - Matt Maher

As It Is In Heaven - Matt Maher

Another FREE Christmas song from the folks at Worshiptogether.com, Matt Maher releases his first Christmas song, As It Is In Heaven. As with the FEE song, it is available for FREE* in exchange for your email address.

Indie Vision Music

Indie Vision Music

Indie Vision Music has long been a source of some great Indie music. Now, they are offering one of the best indie compilations I have seen in a long time with artists like Esterlyn, Forever Changed, and Kessler, all for FREE. No strings attached.

Gospel Music Channel

Gospel Music Channel

The Gospel Music Channel has started adding a free download of the week and has featured Deas Vail, Philmont, and most recently, Beyond The Veil.

The Free Christian Music Blog

The Free Christian Music Blog

The Free Christian Music Blog is one of the best sites for finding free music. They search the net and find the best music, so you don’t have to.

The Bloggable Music Network was started from a post on Kat’s blog asking the question, what are some of the best songs you are not hearing on the radio. The momentum from that post has turned into The Bloggable Music Network which features a free download every week.

That wraps up this week’s post, but I will be posting part 2 next week.

That’s a pretty good list. I especially like number 2 from the bottom (but I could be biased…) Thanks for the mention! :)
