When I go to the beach…
So today we went to an office cookout for the wifes work. It was pretty cool, I got to do my thing, grilling. It was fun. then we made our way to Virginia Beach for the weekend. I think I told you that a longtime friend of the family is retiring from the Navy after 26 years. We are going to spend the day tomorrow at the beach.
We love coming to the beach. We come down here at least 3 times a year. When we come down here it always reminds me of the first time I came down here, in the 80’s. It was at a point in my life where I was straying a little bit in my walk. I was a roadie for a couple of local bands, one of which was a punk band called The Slickee Boys. They were huge regionally, but never gained a nationwide following. Here is a video from the Slickees…..
