In the United States, April 22 is the nationally celebrated Earth Day. According to wikipedia, Earth Day is is a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth’s environment. It was founded by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson as an environmental teach-in in 1970 and is celebrated in many countries every year. This date is Spring in the Northern Hemisphere and Autumn in the Southern Hemisphere.
I was recently afforded the opportunity to review the new book from Mike Abbaté, Gardening Eden.
Being in an unusual busy time with vacation, Easter, and snapping 3 ligaments in my foot, the last couple of weeks have been a blur. I just never seemed to be able to carve the time to sit down with this book, but I will. Instead of giving a partial review, for now I will give you the official description.
