In Memory: Rev Karen Blomberg

by Charley on July 22, 2008

I just found out that the Associate Pastor from my old church went to be home with The Lord yesterday.  I have always had great respect for her and she was always great to my family, especially my wife and daughter.  She died while on a vision quest in the mountains of California.  While I will miss her, I thank God that I had the opportunity to get to know and worship with her.

I am so sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the peace He gives and knowing she is rejoicing with great company right now.

Hey Charley, I too knew Karen, and in fact she was the reason I stayed with your old Church. I seldom make it into Alexandria, but when I do I always hope to see Karen. She made a very important difference in my life, married my husband and me back in 1995, and remained a special friend to me through the years since. I regret not seeing her for several months, but I too feel comfort in knowing she’s up there saving a place for us.
