I just found out the most exciting news. Hyper Static Union is coming out with a new cd very soon. It has been such a long time coming, they seemed to have fallen off the music map. In this video, Shawn Lewis is talking about writing for the new cd. I hope you are excited about this as well!
Brody and Randy have this company and they have a great passion for working with musicians to help them establish and maintain a blogging prescence. They believe, as do I, that it is a way for the artists to build community with their fans, and promote their music on a grass roots level.
On May 9, they set out on a project that I believe will start a new wave of intereste in blogging and grassroots promotion. They worked with Phil Wickham to help him achieve one of his goals, and use what Skorinc does best, and the outcome was totally amazing. Here is Brody’s post.
The record itself is outstanding. I have been a Phil Wickham fan since I saw him at GMA in 2006. He is a great songwriter and the record is a great time of worship. You can get the cd and hear it for yourself. When you do, I am sure you will be a fan of Phil Wickham’s music like I am.
Welcome my friends to another installment of TFK Thursday here at Cross Driven Radio. TFK Thursday is here for you when you feel the need, yes, when you feel the need to throw up your RAWKFIST. Rawkfists work well when you are driving and cranking David Crowder and Third Day among others. They also work well when you are at your cube at work with said jams on the I-P-O-D and the rawkfist rises from among the cube skyline. SWEET! Just make sure the boss doesn’t see it though, He/She may think you are asking a question and come to your cube and never leave for what seems like hours.
There you have it. The best uses for the rawkfist, now here is the rawkfist video
What a week it has been. I am in a training class at work all week, and if that isn’t stressful enough. my new boss is in the class as well. I come home Monday night and in the midst of doing a couple of changes on the site, all of a sudden I can’t get in or do anything. To make a long story short, I lost the entire site, but with some help from my web hosting company, I was able to restore everything, except for 10 days worth of posts ad some wacky google analytics.
If My people called by My name
If they’ll humble themselves and pray
I realize I am not a web guru, and that I can’t fix everything I break. Thanks be to God, that gives me many blessings, including things like spell check, database backups, and people that know how to fix the things I can’t.
Its Thursday. Cross Driven Radio is on today, and as long time listeners know by the repeated airplay, one of my Favorite bands is TFK. They have a new video out, so I proclaim that today is TFK Thursday, at least here at Cross Driven Radio!! Throw up your collective RAWKFISTS if you hear me!

I just finished recording this weeks Cross Driven Radio show and I must say it was among the hardest shows I have done. If you read my previous post from today, the Associate Pastor from my previous church, Rev. Karen Blomberg passed away yesterday. Continue Reading »
I just found out that the Associate Pastor from my old church went to be home with The Lord yesterday. I have always had great respect for her and she was always great to my family, especially my wife and daughter. She died while on a vision quest in the mountains of California. While I will miss her, I thank God that I had the opportunity to get to know and worship with her.
For today’s Positive Post Tuesday, I want to tell you a little story about some good friends from Alberta, Canada and tell you about their festival. For those of you that may read this and don’t know, I am an Engineer by day and have a radio show a podcast, and this blog called Cross Driven Radio. I have a passion for anything music, specifically Christian music, and using that passion to serve God. I started promoting concerts a couple of years back, and at the urging of Nancy Tyler, I started going to GMA 3 years ago. Continue Reading »
