You know, being more of a listener and not so much of a talker (except on the radio of course) I have always heard the phrase”its a God thing” or “it was a God moment”. I have never experienced anything like that before, so that is the topic of today’s post.

If you follow me on facebook or twitter, you would know that I posted that I was working my final Red Cross Waterfront Festival this past weekend. The other multitude of experiences from the weekend will be the subject of a future blog post. Trust me, some really good stuff to talk about..

My job for the weekend was to be the runner. The runner’s job is to play chauffeur to all of the bands coming in, driving them around from the airport, to the hotel, to the venue, and back again. Being a part time concert promoter I know this is always one of the hardest volunteer positions to fill because you don’t want it to be the “super fan”, the Mr. or Mrs Talky Pants or the person who doesn’t know their way around town.
