New Music Tuesday: Revive
There is this great new band from Australia called Revive. They just released their debut cd in the US and it is really good. It is worship music that packs a powerful message and the music ROCKS.
The band can tell the story better than me, so, without further adieu, REVIVE. You can catch them opening for Third Day on the Revelation Tour.

New Music Tuesday : Rough Draft
I have been reading over on Chris Sligh’s Blog about a band from Colorado he is producing called Rough Draft. He apparently met them at the GMA Music in The Rockies last summer and now he is producing their new 7 song EP and from what he says it sounds amazing.
So I went and looked up their website and from the music in the background and their CD on itunes, they have a great rock sound and are versatile in different style. Check them out this week on the radio show.

New Music Tuesday:Stars Go Dim
Stars Go Dim is a new pop / rock band from Tulsa Oklahoma comprised of Chris Cleveland on Vocals, Piano, and Guitar, Joey Avalos (formerly of Sky Harbor) on guitar and the rhythm section of Michael Wittig on bass and Lester Estelle on drums. Michael (Kalel) and Lester are currently in the super successful band Pillar.
This band has a fresh and unique sound, from the grooving smooth jazz influenced drumming to the funky bass and solid, steady grooving guitars combined with Cleveland’s soulful vocals, this is a band that has set itself apart from the typical pop rock bands.
The song Get Over It is a finalist in the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Contest in the Rock category. The band has their debut EP releasing on October 21 and you can pre order it here with packages starting at $5.00.

New Music Tuesday: 38 Acres
I first heard 38 Acres music while searching the Podsafe Music Network for music for the original podcast, and I have been a fan ever since. I like that their sound is pretty unique from the groove set by the rhythm section, the often angelic sounding keys and the clean guitar sound. They have sample tracks up now on their myspace.
38 Acres freshman CD is in production and they have started to take pre orders. This is their first video, Hallelujah.
