I don’t really watch much tv. Most of the time it is on, but mostly as a background to whatever I am doing. One of my favorite shows that I have the DVR set to record is Travel The Road. Travel The Road is a show that highlights the travelling ministry of 2 Missionaries, Tim Scott and William Decker.

Each episode documents Tim and William’s travels and adventures in sharing the gospel in such places as Sudan, Ethiopia and Afghanistan. Through chaperones /interpreters, they preach the gospel and lead people to Christ. Often times, their visit was the first time they have seen missionaries and have heard the good news of Christ.

In their latest blog post, they share a story about their most recent travels in Peru. When you read that post, it is proof positive that God is alive and still working miracles on the earth. Here is a sample of the Travel the Road TV show..

It is a good Friday indeed. After upgrading to a new version of wordpress, I was no longer able to create a post like this on my lunch hour, which is when I write, or at least start most of my posts. The kind folks at wordpress came out with a patch upgrade and with the automatic upgrade program I was back at it in 5 minutes. How sweet is that?!?

I find that when I get in a real need for inspiration, I always go back to the Travel The Road podcasts. Tim and Will always remind me about what it is like to be totally sold out and living your life totally for Christ. Here is a little clip from the show. What are you thankful for, and where do you go when you need inspiration?
